The Deer’s Dream-Appeal and the Move to Kāmyaka
सस्वनानधिरोहध्वं नित्यसज्जानिमान् रथान् | इन्द्रसेनादिभि: सूतै: कृतशस्त्रैरधिष्ठितान्
sasvanān adhirohadhvaṁ nityasajjān imān rathān | indrasenādibhiḥ sūtaiḥ kṛtaśastrair adhiṣṭhitān ||
Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Mount these chariots at once—ever kept ready—manned by skilled charioteers such as Indrasena, with their weapons prepared.”
युधिषछ्िर उवाच
A ruler grounded in dharma must combine restraint with preparedness: ethical leadership includes timely, disciplined readiness to protect others when circumstances demand swift action.
