अनदंश्ष॒ महाकाया दैत्या जलधरोपमा: । आसीच्च निश्चितं तेषां जितमस्माभिरित्युत,इधर विशालकाय दैत्य मेघोंके समान गम्भीर गर्जना करने लगे। उन्हें यह निश्चय हो गया कि “हमारी जीत होगी”
Transliteration
Anadaṁṣṭrā mahākāyā daityā jaladharopamāḥ | āsīc ca niścitaṁ teṣāṁ jitam asmābhir ity uta ||
Translation
Mārkaṇḍeya said: The great-bodied Dāityas, whose forms were like rain-clouds and who were without fangs, began to roar with deep thunder. In their hearts they became certain: “Victory is surely ours.”
