Gandharva Encounter
नष्टशत्रुर्यदा स्कन्द: प्रयातस्तु महेश्वरम । तदाब्रवीन्महासेनं परिष्वज्य पुरंदर:,शत्रुओंका नाश करके जब कुमार कार्तिकेय भगवान् महेश्वरके पास पहुँचे, उस समय इन्द्रने उनको हृदयसे लगा लिया और इस प्रकार कहा--
naṣṭaśatrur yadā skandaḥ prayātas tu maheśvaram | tadābravīn mahāsenaṃ pariṣvajya purandaraḥ ||
When Skanda, having destroyed his enemies, went to Maheśvara (Śiva), Purandara (Indra) embraced the great commander with heartfelt affection and then spoke to him.
