Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how reverence and gratitude can crystallize into dharmic tradition: an act of honoring a revered figure leads to the establishment of a regular, communal worship of Skanda on Śukla-Pañcamī.

After paying homage to Parvatāśva, the group returns to the earthly realm. Subsequently, people begin the recurring practice of worshipping Skanda on the fifth lunar day of the bright fortnight each month.
