कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

तत्र पश्यामि गगन चन्द्रसूर्यविराजितम्‌ । जाज्वल्यमानं तेजोभि: पावकार्कसमप्रभम्‌,वहाँ मुझे चन्द्रमा और सूर्यसे सुशोभित आकाशमण्डल दिखायी दिया, जो अनन्त तेजसे प्रज्वलित तथा अग्नि एवं सूर्यके समान देदीप्यमान था

tatra paśyāmi gaganaṃ candrasūryavirājitam | jājvalyamānaṃ tejobhiḥ pāvakārkasamaprabham ||

There I beheld the vault of the sky, adorned by the moon and the sun—ablaze with boundless radiance, shining with a brilliance like fire and the sun.
