अहं तु शरवर्षैस्तानस्त्रप्रचुदितै रणे
ahaṃ tu śaravarṣais tān astrapracuditai raṇe
Arjuna said: “But I, in the midst of battle, will assail them with showers of arrows, driven forth by my weapons.”
अजुन उवाच
The line foregrounds a kṣatriya’s resolve: when confronted with hostile forces, one may be bound by duty to respond with disciplined martial action rather than hesitation, while keeping the focus on rightful conduct in conflict.
Arjuna speaks in the first person, asserting that he will engage the opposing side in battle by unleashing volleys of arrows, propelled by his weaponry—an emphatic declaration of readiness to fight.
