Hiraṇyapura Described and the Deployment of the Raudra Weapon
रथघोष॑ तु त॑ श्रुत्वा स्तनयित्नोरिवाम्बरे | मन्वाना देवराजं मामाविग्ना दानवाभवन्,आकाशमें होनेवाली मेघ-गर्जनाके समान उस रथका शब्द सुनकर दानवलोग मुझे देवराज इन्द्र समझकर भयसे अत्यन्त व्याकुल हो उठे
rathaghoṣaṃ tu taṃ śrutvā stanayitnor ivāmbare | manvānā devarājaṃ mām āvignā dānavābhavan ||
Hearing that roar of the chariot—like the thunder of storm-clouds in the sky—the Dānavas, taking me to be Indra, the king of the gods, were seized with fear and became greatly agitated.
