Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
na khalv āsīt punaḥ yuddhaṃ tasya yakṣair dvijottama | kaccit samāgamas teṣām āsīd vaiśravaṇasya ca ||
Janamejaya said: “O best of twice-born sages, did he truly have no further battle with the Yakṣas? And did he ever come into a meeting with Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera)?”

The verse highlights careful ethical inquiry into the aftermath of conflict: whether hostility continued or gave way to reconciliation, and whether a higher authority (Kubera) granted an audience—implying that resolution and proper relations with powerful beings matter as much as victory.
Janamejaya asks the sage to clarify two points about the episode involving Yakṣas: whether there was any renewed fighting afterward, and whether the central figure later met Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera), the lord associated with Yakṣas and wealth.
