Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the ethic of disciplined inquiry: a listener seeks a complete, accurate account from a qualified ascetic authority, showing respect for tapas (spiritual merit) and for careful transmission of tradition.

Janamejaya asks the narrator to recount, in detail, the moment when Dhanada (Kubera) summoned Ārtiṣeṇa and what was said—signaling a transition to a more specific sub-episode within the Vana Parva narrative.
