Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly

abhyāgacchati dāśārhe prajñācakṣur nariśvaraḥ | sahaiva droṇabhīṣmābhyām udatiṣṭhan mahāyaśāḥ ||

When Dāśārha (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) approached, the renowned king Dhṛtarāṣṭra—though blind, yet ‘seeing’ through understanding—rose at once, together with Bhīṣma and Droṇa. The scene underscores the court’s formal respect for Kṛṣṇa’s moral and political stature, even as the kingdom stands on the brink of war.
