Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly

धृतराष्ट्रं पुरस्कृत्य भीष्मद्रोणादयस्तत: । आसनेभ्यो5चलन् सर्वे पूजयन्तो जनार्दनम्,उस समय भीष्म और द्रोणाचार्य आदि सब लोग भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका सम्मान करनेके लिये राजा धृतराष्ट्रको आगे करके अपने आसनोंसे उठकर आगे बढ़े
Transliteration
dhṛtarāṣṭraṁ puraskṛtya bhīṣma-droṇādayas tataḥ | āsanebhyo 'calan sarve pūjayanto janārdanam ||
Translation
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Placing King Dhṛtarāṣṭra in front, Bhīṣma, Droṇa, and the others then rose from their seats and stepped forward, honoring Janārdana (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). The scene underscores the courtly ethic that even amid looming conflict, rightful respect is offered to a revered guest and moral authority.
