विदुरस्य कृष्णं प्रति शमोपदेशः
Vidura’s Counsel to Krishna on the Limits of Peace

वैरं नो नास्ति भवता गोविन्द न च विग्रह: । स भवान् प्रसमीक्ष्यैतन्नेदृशं वक्तुमहीति,“गोविन्द! आपके साथ हमलोगोंका न तो कोई वैर है और न झगड़ा ही है। इन सब बातोंका विचार करके आपको ऐसी बात नहीं कहनी चाहिये”
Transliteration
vairaṃ no nāsti bhavatā govinda na ca vigrahaḥ | sa bhavān prasmīkṣyaitann edṛśaṃ vaktum arhati ||
Translation
“Govinda, we bear no enmity toward you, nor do we have any quarrel with you. Having carefully considered all this, you should not speak in such a manner.”
