“O Madhusūdana, we do not know of any reason on account of which you would not accept the worship we offer with affection and sincere delight. O Puruṣottama, please do not withhold your gracious presence from this loving act of reverence.”

Sincere, affectionate reverence (pūjā offered with prīti) is presented as intrinsically worthy; the speaker implies that a noble person should not reject heartfelt respect without a valid cause, highlighting the dharmic ethic of honoring devotion and hospitality.
In the Udyoga Parva’s pre-war diplomacy setting, Kṛṣṇa is being addressed with honorific epithets. The speaker conveys that they see no reason why Kṛṣṇa would refuse or stand apart from the loving worship being offered, urging him to accept their reverence.
