Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

उस समय देवराज तथा दैत्यराजके भी सखा जमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामने मधुसूदन श्रीकृष्णके पास जाकर उन्हें हृदयसे लगाया और इस प्रकार कहा-- ॥। देवर्षय: पुण्यकृतो ब्राह्मणाश्व बहुश्रुता: । राजर्षयश्न दाशाह मानयन्तस्तपस्विन: । देवासुरस्य द्रष्टार: पुराणस्य महामते
Translation
At that time Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma), friend of both the king of the gods and the king of the daityas, went up to Madhusūdana, Śrī Kṛṣṇa; embracing him from the heart, he said: “Devarṣis of meritorious deeds, brāhmaṇas of wide learning, and royal seers—ascetics held in honor—revere you. O great-minded one, you are a witness to gods and asuras, a knower of the ancient Purāṇic lore.”
