Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

समेत पार्थिव क्षत्रं दिदृक्षन्तश्व सर्वतः । सभासदकश्न राजानस्त्वां च सत्यं जनार्दनम्‌

Transliteration

sametaṁ pārthiva-kṣatraṁ didṛkṣantaś ca sarvataḥ | sabhāsadāś ca nṛpa-rājānas tvāṁ ca satyaṁ janārdanam ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “From every direction the assembled body of kings and warriors came, eager to behold—along with the members of the royal assembly—not only the gathered sovereigns but also you, Janārdana, the unfailing one in truth.”
