Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure

कि वा कार्य भगवतामहं कि करवाणि व: । केनार्थेनोपसम्प्राप्ता भगवन्तो महीतलम्‌,तत्पश्चात्‌ उन महर्षियोंकी पूजा करके भगवान्‌ मधुसूदनने फिर उनसे पूछा --'महात्माओ! आपने कहाँ सिद्धि प्राप्त की है? आपलोगोंका यहाँ कौन-सा मार्ग है? अथवा आपलोगोंका क्‍या कार्य है? भगवन्‌! मैं आपलोगोंकी क्‍या सेवा करूँ? किस प्रयोजनसे आपलोग इस भूतलपर पधारे हैं?

kiṃ vā kāryaṃ bhagavatām ahaṃ kiṃ karavāṇi vaḥ | kenārthenopasamprāptā bhagavanto mahītalam ||

After duly honoring those great seers, Madhusūdana (Kṛṣṇa) addressed them again: “Revered ones, what is your purpose? What service may I render to you? For what reason have you come down to this earth?”
