अम्बाया रामजामदग्न्यशरणगमनम्

Ambā Seeks Refuge with Rāma Jāmadagnya

अम्बोवाच अपनीतास्मि भीष्मेण भगवन्नविजानता । नाभिजानाति मे भीष्मो ब्रह्मन्‌ शाल्वगतं मन:,अम्बा बोली--भगवन्‌! भीष्म बिना जाने-बूझे मुझे हर लाये थे। ब्रह्मन्‌! उन्हें इस बातका पता नहीं था कि मेरा मन शाल्वमें अनुरक्त है

ambovāca apānītāsmi bhīṣmeṇa bhagavann avijānātā | nābhijānāti me bhīṣmo brahman śālvagataṁ manaḥ ||

Ambā said: “Revered sir, Bhīṣma carried me away without knowing the truth. O Brāhmaṇa, Bhīṣma did not realize that my heart had already gone to Śālva.”
