निर्विण्णात्मा हतमना मुज्चैतां पापजीविकाम् । यदि तुझे जीवनके प्रति अधिक आसक्ति न हो तो तू अपने सभी शत्रुओंको परास्त कर सकता है और यदि इस प्रकार विषादग्रस्त एवं हतोत्साह होकर ऐसी कायरोंकी-सी वृत्ति अपना रहा है तो तुझे इस पापपूर्ण जीविकाको त्याग देना चाहिये
Translation
With spirit grown weary and courage struck down, abandon this sinful way of living. If you are not overly attached to life, you can defeat all your enemies; but if, sunk in despair and drained of resolve, you take on the conduct of cowards, then you ought to renounce this tainted livelihood.
