Educational Q&A

As a colophon, the line itself does not add new instruction; it signals that the preceding chapter’s teaching is Vidulā’s admonition to her son—an ethical exhortation emphasizing steadfastness, proper conduct, and purposeful action in a time of political peril.

The text is concluding a chapter within Udyoga Parva, specifically within the Bhagavad-yāna section, and identifies the episode as 'Vidulā’s instruction to her son.' It functions as a formal end-marker for the chapter in the Gītā Press-style recension.
