वयं हि भवता सर्वे गुणक्रीता विशेषत: । यस्त्वमात्महितं त्यक्त्वा मामेवेहानुरुध्यसे,आपने हम सब लोगोंको विशेषरूपसे अपने गुणोंसे खरीद लिया है; क्योंकि आप अपने हितकी बातको अलग रखकर मेरे ही कल्याणका चिन्तन कर रहे हैं

Transliteration

vayaṃ hi bhavatā sarve guṇakrītā viśeṣataḥ | yas tvam ātmahitaṃ tyaktvā mām evehānurudhyase ||

Translation

The Nāga said: “Truly, all of us have been won over by you—especially through your virtues. For you set aside even your own self-interest and, here, concern yourself only with my welfare.”
