अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

धर्माणां विविधानां च कर्ता ज्ञानकरस्तथा | भविष्यसि तपोयुक्तो न च रागाद्‌ विमोक्ष्यसे,“तुम नाना प्रकारके धर्मोंके प्रवर्तक, ज्ञानदाता और तपस्वी होओगे, परंतु रागसे सर्वथा मुक्त नहीं रहोगे

Transliteration

dharmāṇāṁ vividhānāṁ ca kartā jñānakaras tathā | bhaviṣyasi tapoyukto na ca rāgād vimokṣyase ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “You will become an initiator of many kinds of dharma, and a giver of knowledge as well. Endowed with austerity, you will live as an ascetic; yet you will not be completely released from attachment (rāga).”
