अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः

Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic

किमेतान्येकनिष्ठानि पृथड्निष्ठानि वा मुने । प्रत्रूहि वै मया पृष्ट: प्रवृत्ति च यथाक्रमम्‌,मुने! क्या ये सब एक ही लक्ष्यका बोध करानेवाले हैं अथवा पृथक्‌-पृथक्‌ लक्ष्यके प्रतिपादक हैं? मेरे इस प्रश्नचका आप यथावत्‌ उत्तर दें और प्रवृत्तिका भी क्रमश: वर्णन करें

O sage! Do all these teachings point to a single aim, or do they set forth different aims? Answer me as I have asked, and also describe in due order the course of pravṛtti—the path of action and practice.
