यद्य॒हं नार्चयेयं वै ईशानं वरदं शिवम्‌

Transliteration

yady ahaṃ nārcayeyam vai īśānaṃ varadaṃ śivam

Translation

Arjuna said: “If I were not to worship Īśāna—Śiva, the auspicious Lord who grants boons—then I would be failing in the reverence owed to the divine source of protection and grace.”
