तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

अशवनुवन्तश्नरितुं किंचिद्‌ धर्मेषु सूत्रितम्‌ । निरापद्धर्म आचारो हाप्रमादो5परा भव:,प्रवृत्तिमार्गी मनुष्य योगशास्त्रके सूत्रोंमें कथित यम-नियमादिका अनुष्ठान नहीं कर सकते। वह यौगिक आचार आपत्तिशून्य, प्रमादरहित है। वह कामादिसे पराभवको नहीं प्राप्त होता है

Kapila said: People who pursue the outward path of activity cannot carry out the yamas and niyamas and other observances set forth in the sūtras of the Yoga-śāstra. That yogic discipline is free from peril and free from heedlessness; it is not overcome by desire and the like.
