भूतानां निधन निष्ठा स्रोतसामिव सागर: । नैतत् सम्यग्विजानन्तो नरा मुहान्ति वज्धृक्,वज्रधारी इन्द्र! जैसे जलके प्रवाहोंका अन्तिम आश्रय समुद्र है, उसी प्रकार शरीरधारियोंकी अन्तिम गति मृत्यु है। जो पुरुष इस बातको अच्छी तरह जानते हैं, वे कभी मोहमें नहीं पड़ते हैं
Translation
“O Indra, wielder of the thunderbolt! As the ocean is the final resting place of all streams, so death is the final end of embodied beings. Those who understand this rightly never fall into delusion.”
