Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation

Śakra (Indra) said: “O Devarāja, you are the twelve great-souled Ādityas; yet I alone had borne the splendors of you all within myself.” In context, the statement underscores how concentrated power can be held by a single ruler, implying both the burden of stewardship and the ethical responsibility to wield collective brilliance without pride or misuse.
