अहं हि भृशमापतन्नस्त्वमापन्नतरो मम । द्वयोरापन्नयो: संधि: क्रियतां मा चिराय च,“मैं भारी विपत्तिमें फँसा हूँ और तुम भी महान् संकटमें पड़े हुए हो। इस प्रकार आपफत्तिमें पड़े हुए हम दोनोंको संधि कर लेनी चाहिये। इसमें विलम्ब न हो
Transliteration
ahaṁ hi bhṛśam āpatann as tvam āpannataro mama | dvayor āpannayoḥ sandhiḥ kriyatāṁ mā cirāya ca ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “I have fallen into severe distress, and you are in an even graver plight than I. Since we both stand in calamity, let a reconciliation be made between us—without delay.”
