इदं चैवावबोद्धव्यं वृद्धस्य मम शासनम् । मया निगदितं सर्व पथ्यं नि:श्रेयसं परम्,मुझ वृद्धकी यही आज्ञा है। एक बात और है, उसपर भी ध्यान देना। मेरी कही हुई सारी बातें तुम्हारे हित और परम मंगलके लिये होंगी
Transliteration
idaṃ caivāvaboddhavyaṃ vṛddhasya mama śāsanam | mayā nigaditaṃ sarvaṃ pathyaṃ niḥśreyasaṃ param ||
Translation
“This too must be clearly understood—this injunction of mine, spoken as an elder. All that I have stated is wholesome counsel, intended for your welfare and for the highest good.”
