Rājasūyābhiṣeka-darśana: Duryodhana’s Observation of the Consecration

अपर्यन्तं धनीघं त॑ दृष्ट्‌वा शत्रोरहं नृप । शमं नैवाभिगच्छामि चिन्तयानो विशाम्पते,महाराज! शत्रुकी वह अनन्त धनराशि देखकर मैं चिन्तित हो रहा हूँ; मुझे चैन नहीं मिलता

Transliteration

aparyantaṁ dhanaughaṁ taṁ dṛṣṭvā śatror ahaṁ nṛpa | śamaṁ naivābhigacchāmi cintayāno viśāmpate ||

Translation

Duryodhana said: “O king, seeing that boundless flood of wealth belonging to the enemy, my mind finds no peace. As I brood over it, O lord of the people, I cannot attain calm.”
