दुर्योधनस्य बलिवर्णनम् — Duryodhana’s Description of Tribute at the Rājasūya

ततः स्थले निपतितो दुर्मना व्रीडितो नृप: । निःश्वसन् विमुखश्चापि परिचक्राम तां सभाम्,तदनन्तर वह स्थलमें ही गिर पड़ा, इससे वह मन-ही-मन दुःखी और लज्जित हो गया तथा वहाँसे हटकर लम्बी साँसें लेता हुआ सभाभवनमें घूमने लगा
Transliteration
tataḥ sthale nipatito durmanā vrīḍito nṛpaḥ | niḥśvasan vimukhaścāpi paricakrāma tāṃ sabhām ||
Translation
Then the king collapsed right there on the spot. His heart sank in misery and he was overcome with shame; turning his face away and heaving long sighs, he moved about the assembly hall.
