Dyūta-kathā-praśnaḥ — Inquiry into the Dice-Game Calamity

एवमीदृशकं स्वप्न द्रक्ष्यसि त्वं विशाम्पते । मा तत्कृते हानुध्याहि कालो हि दुरतिक्रम:,“राजन! तुम्हें इस प्रकार ऐसा स्वप्न दिखायी देगा, किंतु उसके लिये तुम्हें चिन्ता नहीं करनी चाहिये; क्योंकि काल सबके लिये दुर्लडघ है
Transliteration
evamīdṛśakaṃ svapnaṃ drakṣyasi tvaṃ viśāmpate | mā tatkṛte hānudhyāhi kālo hi duratikramaḥ ||
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: “O lord of the people, you will behold a dream of this very kind. Do not brood over it on that account, for Time is indeed hard for anyone to overstep.”
