Decision on the Highest Honor at the Assembly

वैशम्पायन उवाच ततो भीष्म: शान्तनवो बुद्धया निश्चित्य वीर्यवान्‌ | अमन्यत तदा कृष्णमर्हणीयतमं भुवि,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--तब महापराक्रमी शान्तनुनन्दन भीष्मने अपनी बुद्धिसे निश्चय करके भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णको ही भूमण्डलमें सबसे अधिक पूजनीय माना

vaiśampāyana uvāca | tato bhīṣmaḥ śāntanavo buddhyā niścitya vīryavān | amanyata tadā kṛṣṇam arhaṇīyatamaṃ bhuvi ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Then the mighty Bhīṣma, son of Śāntanu, having reached a firm conclusion through his discernment, regarded Kṛṣṇa at that time as the most worthy of honor upon the earth.
