Adhyāya 33: Antarvedī-Samāgama, Arghya-Nirṇaya, and Śiśupāla’s Objection

सो5हमिच्छामि तत् सर्व विधिवद् देवकीसुत । उपय क्तुं द्विजाग्रयेभ्यो हव्यवाहे च माधव,देवकीनन्दन माधव! वह सारा धन मैं विधिपूर्वक श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मणों तथा हव्यवाहन अग्निके उपयोगमें लाना चाहता हूँ
Transliteration
so ’ham icchāmi tat sarvaṃ vidhivad devakīsuta | upayoktuṃ dvijāgrebhyo havyavāhe ca mādhava ||
Translation
Yudhiṣṭhira said: “Therefore, O son of Devakī, O Mādhava, I wish to employ all that wealth in the proper, prescribed manner—offering it to the foremost of the twice-born (brāhmaṇas) and into the sacred fire. Let it be used in ways that uphold right order and sanctify what has been gained.”
