Legitimate sovereignty is supported by competence (samartha), disciplined hierarchy (vaśagāḥ), and the pursuit of sanctioned royal rites like the Rājasūya; leadership is affirmed when capable authority is met with loyal cooperation.
The narrator reports a reassurance to the king: he is fit to carry out the sacrificial undertaking, his supporters are obedient to his command, and he will soon achieve the Rājasūya, signaling imminent political-religious consolidation.
