The Commencement of the Great Departure

युधिष्ठटिरो ययावग्रे भीमस्तु तदनन्तरम्‌ । अर्जुनस्तस्य चान्वेव यमौ चापि यथाक्रमम्‌,आगे-आगे युधिष्ठिर चलते थे। उनके पीछे भीमसेन थे। भीमसेनके भी पीछे अर्जुन थे और उनके भी पीछे क्रमश: नकुल और सहदेव चल रहे थे

vaiśampāyana uvāca | yudhiṣṭhiro yayāv agre bhīmas tu tad-anantaram | arjunas tasya cānv eva yamau cāpi yathākramam ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Yudhiṣṭhira proceeded in front; Bhīma followed immediately behind him. After Bhīma came Arjuna, and then the twin brothers, Nakula and Sahadeva, in due order.
