क्रोधात्‌ प्रस्फुरमाणौष्ठो धनुरुद्यम्य भारत । योधयामास वै पार्थ महावेगपराक्रम:,भरतनन्दन! वह महान्‌ वेग और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न हो क्रोधसे ओंठ फड़फड़ाता हुआ धनुष उठाकर अर्जुनके साथ युद्ध करने लगा

krodhāt prasphuramāṇauṣṭho dhanur udyamya bhārata | yodhayāmāsa vai pārtha mahāvegaparākramaḥ ||

Sañjaya said: “O Bhārata, in anger—his lips quivering—he lifted his bow and engaged Arjuna in battle, a warrior endowed with tremendous speed and overpowering might.”
