Sañjaya said: “O King, all of them were wholly inclined toward Pārtha’s (Arjuna’s) victory.” In the story, even the omens and the creatures round about are shown as converging in Arjuna’s favor, suggesting a moral momentum behind his cause and foreshadowing the battle’s end.

The verse underscores how righteousness and destined outcome are signaled not only through human strategy but also through narrative ‘omens’: the world itself is depicted as leaning toward the victory of the side aligned with dharma—here, Arjuna.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that all signs and forces are favoring Pārtha (Arjuna). It functions as a brief but emphatic forecast that Arjuna’s success is gathering inevitability.
