ततः सुपुड्खेन सुयन्त्रितेन सुसंशिताग्रेण शरेण शूर: । आकर्णमुक्तेन समाहितेन युधामन्युस्तस्यथ शिरो जहार,तत्पश्चात्‌ शूरवीर युधामन्युने धनुषको कानतक खींचकर ठीकसे संधान करके छोड़े हुए सुन्दर पंख और तीखी धारवाले सुनियन्त्रित बाणद्वारा चित्रसेनका मस्तक काट दिया

Translation

Then the hero Yudhāmanyu, with a well-guided arrow of fair feathers and a keen, sharpened point, drew his bow to the ear and, steady in concentration, let it fly; with that shaft he severed Citraseṇa’s head.
