Sañjaya said: Having reached Bhīmasena, he stayed there for a short while. When the Kaurava troops broke and fled, even Arjuna—renowned as unconquered—came up to Bhīma and paused with him briefly, as if to steady the line and reaffirm resolve amid the chaos of battle.
