Shloka 38

त्वरितो$भिपतत्यस्मांस्त्यक्त्वा सैन्यान्यसंशयम्‌ | त्वं कर्ण प्रतियाहोनं नास्त्यन्यो हि धनुर्धर:,“इसमें संदेह नहीं कि वे सारी सेनाओंको छोड़कर बड़ी उतावलीके साथ हमलोगोंपर टूट पड़े हैं; अत: कर्ण! अब तुम भी इनका सामना करनेके लिये आगे बढ़ो, क्योंकि तुम्हारे सिवा दूसरा कोई धनुर्धर ऐसा करनेमें समर्थ नहीं है

tvarito 'bhipataty asmāṁs tyaktvā sainyāny asaṁśayam | tvaṁ karṇa pratiyāho naṁ nāsty anyo hi dhanurdharaḥ ||

Arjuna said: “Without doubt, he has abandoned the other divisions of the army and is rushing straight upon us in great haste. Therefore, O Karṇa, advance to meet him in battle—there is no other archer capable of facing him as you are.”
