प्रपतन्तं रथात्‌ कर्ण पश्यन्तु वसुधाधिपा: । “आज तुम्हारे बाणोंसे पीड़ित हुए भूमिपाल दीन और विषादयुक्त होकर हाहाकार मचाते हुए कर्णको रथसे नीचे गिरता देखें

Transliteration

prapatantaṁ rathāt karṇa paśyantu vasudhādhipāḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya said: “Let the kings of the earth behold Karṇa falling from his chariot—struck and tormented by your arrows—while the afflicted rulers, overwhelmed with despair, raise a cry of lamentation.”
