Educational Q&A

Sovereignty (the ‘earth’) is portrayed as properly belonging to the dharmic claimant; martial excellence and royal fortune are meaningful when aligned with rightful order, not merely with conquest.

Sañjaya, narrating the battlefield events, declares that ‘Pārtha’—a Pāṇḍava—will obtain the earth/kingdom today, indicating a decisive shift toward Pāṇḍava success and the restoration of rightful rule.
