Transliteration

nihataḥ saindhavo rājā tvayāstrabalatejasā |

Translation

Sañjaya said: By the force and brilliance of your weapons, the king of Sindhu—Jayadratha—has been slain by you. The statement underscores how martial prowess, when directed with unwavering resolve, can break even a vast opposing host; yet it also carries the ethical weight of war, where victory is purchased through the fall of renowned rulers.
