Shloka 46

योग्यो राजा भीमसेनो महात्मा क्लीबस्य वा मम किं राज्यकृत्यम्‌ । न चापि शक्त: परुषाणि सोढूुं पुनस्तवेमानि रुषान्वितस्य,“महामनस्वी भीमसेन सुयोग्य राजा होंगे। मुझ कायरको राज्य लेनेसे क्या काम है? अब पुनः मुझमें तुम्हारे रोषपूर्वक कहे हुए इन कठोर वचनोंको सहनेकी शक्ति नहीं है

yogyo rājā bhīmaseno mahātmā klībasya vā mama kiṁ rājyakṛtyam | na cāpi śaktaḥ paruṣāṇi soḍhuṁ punas tavemāni ruṣānvitasyāḥ ||

Sañjaya said: “The great-souled Bhīmasena is fit to be king. What business have I—a coward—with taking up the burden of sovereignty? Nor am I able to endure these harsh words of yours again, spoken in anger.”
