Sañjaya said: Having stationed Bhīmasena, the subduer of foes, at the front line to face the enemy, and having conveyed to Vṛkodara the king’s instructions concerning the battle, those foremost of men then went to King Yudhiṣṭhira as he lay resting alone. Dismounting from their chariot, they bowed at the feet of Dharmarāja.

Even in warfare, righteous conduct is maintained through disciplined delegation of duty (placing Bhima at the front) and through humility and respect toward rightful authority (bowing to Dharmaraja). The verse highlights that ethical order (dharma) is preserved by proper roles, clear instructions, and reverence.
Sanjaya reports that Bhima is positioned to confront the enemy at the vanguard and is given battle instructions. After arranging this, the leading men go to the resting King Yudhishthira, dismount from the chariot, and pay obeisance at his feet.
