अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter

पज्चालानथ निष्नन्तं कर्ण दृष्टवा महारणे | अभ्यधावत्‌ सुसंक्रुद्धों धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर:,उस महासमरमें कर्णको पांचालोंका संहार करते देख धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरने अत्यन्त कुपित होकर उसपर धावा बोल दिया

pañcālān atha niṣṇantaṃ karṇaṃ dṛṣṭvā mahāraṇe | abhyadhāvat susaṃkruddho dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Sañjaya said: Seeing Karṇa slaughtering the Pāñcālas in that great battle, Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira—overcome with fierce anger—rushed straight at him.
