जिधघांसुर्भरतश्रेष्ठं धृष्टद्युम्नो व्यपासृजत्‌ । धृष्टद्युम्नने भरतश्रेष्ठ दुर्योधनको मार डालनेकी इच्छासे उसके ऊपर फुफकारते हुए सर्पोंके समान पंद्रह नाराच छोड़े

Transliteration

jighāṃsur bharataśreṣṭhaṃ dhṛṣṭadyumno vyapāsṛjat | dhṛṣṭadyumno bharataśreṣṭha duryodhanaṃko māra ḍālne kī icchā se uske ūpar phuphakārate hue sarpoṃ ke samān pañcadaśa nārāca choṛe |

Translation

Sañjaya said: Intent on slaying the foremost of the Bharatas, Dhṛṣṭadyumna launched his attack. With the desire to kill Duryodhana, he hurled fifteen nārāca arrows at him—like hissing serpents—intensifying the ruthless momentum of the battle where resolve and vengeance drive warriors beyond restraint.
