अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

Arjuna’s Rapid Advance and the Bhīma–Śakuni Encounter

हत्वा दशसहस््राणि पार्थिवानां महारथ: । संशप्तकानां कौन्तेय: प्रत्यक्ष॑ं त्वरितो5भ्ययात्‌,महारथी कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन सबके देखते-देखते दस हजार संशप्तक नरेशोंका वध करके तुरंत आगे बढ़ गये

hatvā daśasahasrāṇi pārthivānāṃ mahārathaḥ | saṃśaptakānāṃ kaunteyaḥ pratyakṣaṃ tvarito 'bhyayāt ||

Sañjaya said: Arjuna, son of Kuntī, the great chariot-warrior, slew ten thousand kings of the Saṃśaptakas; and, in full view of all, he swiftly pressed forward.
