तावुभौ भरतश्रेष्ठी ज्येष्ठी सर्वधनुष्मताम्‌ । विव्याधोरसि संक्रुद्ध: पज्चभि: पठ्चभि: शरै:,वे दोनों श्रेष्ठ वीर समस्त धनुर्धारियोंमें प्रधान थे। दुर्योधनने कुपित होकर उन दोनोंकी छातीमें पाँच-पाँच बाण मारे

Transliteration

tāv ubhau bharataśreṣṭhī jyeṣṭhī sarvadhanuṣmatām | vivyādhorasi saṅkruddhaḥ pañcabhiḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Those two were the foremost among the Bharatas, preeminent among all who bore the bow. Enraged, Duryodhana pierced each of them in the chest with five arrows.
