कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat

स तस्य शरवर्षाणि ववर्ष रथिनां वर: | तथा संशप्तकाश्रैव पार्थ बाणै: समार्पयन्‌

Transliteration

sa tasya śaravarṣāṇi vavarṣa rathināṃ varaḥ | tathā saṃśaptakāś caiva pārtha-bāṇaiḥ samārpayan |

Translation

Sañjaya said: The foremost of chariot-warriors showered him with torrents of arrows; and at the same time he also struck the Saṃśaptakas with Pārtha’s shafts, pressing the battle on all sides with relentless skill.
